Veuve Clicquot la Grande Dame Rose

At the age of 27, Nicole-Barbe Clicquot-Ponsardin took over the family champagne house after the death of her husband and managed, in a male-dominated environment, not only to survive but to go down in history as the “grande dame” and one of the most pioneering and innovative minds of her region.
La Grande Dame rosé is essentially the same cuvee as the white, but with up to 15% red wine added.
One of the top prestige rosé champagnes on the market with amazing balance, full body and finesse.
Rich, creamy head, an explosion of cranberries, raspberries and red berries on the nose, mineral character and hints of brioche, nougat and biscuit.
Drinkable now but will evolve in bottle for the next decade.

Goes well with:

Try it with tuna and lobster.
