From vines of extremely low yield, so of the highest concentration comes a wine epic, Armakas. Owing its name to the armakades (large stones) that characterize the vineyard, this wine is among the best wines not only of Greece, but of the world, as it has competed with international flagship wines! On the nose, an exuberant, concentrated bouquet of medium-intensity aromas hypnotizes. Plum, black cherry and dried fig are blended with aromas of tobacco, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, tannic and acidic, so much so that you almost chew it up. The flavour profile is ripe and fruity, framed by flavours of caramel, wood and chocolate. A red wine that proudly competes with the best wines from abroad!
